One limitation is due to the fact that Windows allocates only 128 KB for resources. Since HTML Assistant edit windows use resource memory, only a limited number of edit windows can be open at any one time before getting an out-of-memory error. Try to keep the number of edit windows open to a small number, closing edit windows you are not using.
Another limitation is the size of the HTML document. HTML Assistant 1.4 only allows up to 32Kb for any document. This is usually sufficient for the average Web page, and, in my opinion, Web pages should be kept as small as possible. Large pages take time to load, and as Web traffic increases, and the further away your Web page visitor is, the greater the chances are of your page never fully loading. A slow page discourages use. But in the event you need a long Web page, you can work around this limitation in two ways:
HTML Assistant can "grow" as HTML coding changes via its User Tools. Other of HTML Assistant's limitations can be dealt with by upgrading to the Professional version, which allows unlimited document size, comes complete with spell checker and assists you in making tables, among other features.
